Seoul Mini-Mountains - Research
Seoul Mini-Mountains is a research project that explores the overlooked mountain remnants embedded within the dense urban fabric of Seoul. These steep, irregular fragments—often excluded from formal development—exist at the intersection of ecology, topography, and urban marginality. Through mapping, fieldwork, and photographic observation, the project reconsiders these terrains as liminal spaces of resistance and potential. Rather than treating them as leftover or inaccessible, the research reframes them as spatial gaps that invite new readings of the city—where nature is not erased, but actively shapes urban experience and imagination.
